Air Rarotonga to reduce flights to Papeete

Air Rarotonga has been operating two weekly flights between Rarotonga International Airport and Tahiti Faa’a International Airport (Papeete) since June 29th 2025. However, from December 29th 2025 Air Rarotonga will reduce to one weekly flight operating on tuesdays only, while the sunday flights will be removed.

Air Tahiti will continue to operate two weekly flights on the same route, departing on thursdays and saturdays. These flights will be operated with a ATR72-600 with place for 68 passengers.

The route will be operated with a Saab 340B+ with place for 34 passengers. The flights will be in codeshare with Air Tahiti (marked in the parentheses).
