The airline Air Tahiti from French Polynesia, will in the periode between 6. July and 10. August add a third weekly flight between Tahiti Faa’a International Airport (Papeete) and Rarotonga International Airport. The flights comes in addition to Air Rarotongas two weekly flights on the same route.
The route will be operated with an ATR72-600 with place for 68 passengers, and some times with an ATR42-600 with place for 48 passengers. The flights will be in codeshare with Air Rarotonga (marked in the parentheses).
