The American airline Hawaiian Airlines will on 15. June 2025 change from nighttime to daytime departure for the return flight from Rarotonga International Airport to Honolulu Daniel K Inouye International Airport. Hawaiian Airlines has since 20. May 2023 when restarting the service between Honolulu and Rarotonga, operated the return flight at late evening departure before midnight.
The route will still operate on saturday afternoon from Honolulu with landing at Rarotonga late evening, with return from Rarotonga at sunday in the middle of the day and landing sunday evening in Honolulu. The route will be operated by an Airbus A321neoLR with place for 16 passengers in Premium Class, 45 passengers in Extra Comfort Premium Economy Class and 128 passengers in Economy Class.
